Abstract

In September 2019, the city of Ternate suffered a deflation of 0.78 percent with a consumer price index (CPI) of 140.31. From 82 (eighty two) cities of IHK, 12 (twelve) cities have inflation and 70 (seventy) cities are deflated. The highest inflation occurred in the city of Meulaboh at 0.91

Percent. The highest deflation took place in Sibolga for 1.94 percent.

The inflation in Ternate city calendar amounted to 1.45 percent and the inflation of the year on year in Ternate was 2.64 percent. If it is sorted, the city is in the 13th order of the city which is deflated.

In September 2019, the city of Ternate experienced inflation in six production and deflation groups in one production group. The group that is experiencing inflation is food, beverages, cigarettes & tembakau sebesar 0.27 persen; Housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel of 0.29

Percent Groups of 0.34 percent; A health group of 0.16 percent; Educational groups, recreation & olahraga sebesar 0.03 persen; and transport groups, communications & financial services amounted to 0.22 percent. The deflation group is a group of 4.66 percent foodstuffs.
